Who we are

Archeana Field is run by P Felix Malayappa (an individual), Royal Embassy, VS Acharya Road, Vidyaratna Nagar, Manipal, District Udupi, Karnataka, India 576 104, trading as Archeana Field, part of Archeana Research. Contact and grievance officer: P Felix Malayappa, research@archeana.com.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address and, if you give it, phone number, job title, photo link, website and social links.
• The leads you store: names, phone numbers, email addresses, companies, designations, context and notes about other people. This is personal data of those people, and you control it. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold and contact them. We process it on your behalf to run the service.
• Please do not record sensitive details such as health, religion, caste, sexual orientation or financial hardship in notes.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse and to run the bot check on sign-up, sign-in and card forms.

AI processing

Text you paste, the text of leads you ask Magnet to assess or draft for, and card photos you scan are sent to Google's Gemini API to extract fields and to write drafts. We do not keep card photos after the fields have been extracted. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you save or send anything.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in Google Sheets and Google Workspace, and the site and its servers run on Cloudflare. Their servers may be outside India, so your data may be processed abroad. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

One essential session cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. The app stores a few settings, and any leads waiting to sync, in your browser's local storage on your device.

Your public card

If you choose a card address, anyone with the link sees only the fields you choose to show: your name, title, photo, website and social links. It does not show your phone or email. A visitor who fills in the form sends their details to you, with this line shown next to the tick box: "I agree that [their name] may contact me using these details."

How long we keep it

Leads and your account are kept until you delete them. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 72 hours. You can export your data from the app at any time.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and have a grievance addressed. Most of this you can do in the app (edit, export, delete). For anything else write to research@archeana.com. If a person on your list asks us to correct or remove their data, we will pass the request to you or act on it directly.

Field is for people aged 18 or over.
